Team building quiz: 15 office trivia questions and answers

Fifteen questions for a team day, a workshop warm-up or an offsite evening. They are all about work, offices and the tools everyone uses, so nobody needs to know football or pop music to have a shot. Every question has four options and the answer sits right underneath.

Nothing here is behind a form. Use the questions as they are, print them, or put them in your own slides. If you would rather put them on the big screen and let the room answer from their own phones, one button copies the whole quiz into EventQuiz and gives it a join PIN.

The button opens a free trial: email only, no card. Already have an account? Sign in and the quiz lands in your account.

The questions

Mixed difficulty, so everyone gets a few and nobody gets them all. A good way to split a room is by table or by department, and to let each team agree on one answer.

How to run it in the room

On paper it is simple: read the question, give the teams a few seconds, read the answer, keep score on a flip chart. On a screen it takes three steps.

1

Copy the quiz

One button puts all fifteen questions in your account, with a join PIN already assigned. Swap in a question about your own company and it becomes yours.

2

Open the big screen

The projector or TV shows the PIN, then the questions. Your own phone or laptop is the remote: you decide when the next question goes up.

3

People join and play

They open eventquiz.app, type the PIN and a nickname. No app, no account, no email. After each question the screen shows how the room answered, and the leaderboard at the end.

What it costs

The questions on this page are free, with or without us. Running them on the big screen needs an account: the free trial asks for an email and no card, and gives you 24 hours from your first live session with up to 10 players in a game. A whole department is usually bigger than that, and that is Event Pass, 39 USD once, for 72 hours of live time with as many sessions as you want inside it. Nothing renews on its own.

If you are here because the free plan of some other tool stops at 10 players, the numbers across the market are written down on our Kahoot alternative page, vendor by vendor, with the date they were read.

Questions people ask

Can I use these questions for free?

Yes. Print them, read them aloud, put them in your slides. You do not need our permission and you do not need an account. A link back is welcome, not required.

Can I add questions about our own company?

Yes, and that is the best part of a team quiz. The copy lands in your account as an ordinary quiz, so you can add a question about your office, your product or your boss, add a picture, or turn one into a closest number question where the room types a number and the nearest guess takes the points.

How many people can play at once?

On the free trial, 10 players in a game. With an Event Pass we have measured 1,000 players in one room with no dropped answers.

Do players need an app or an account?

No. They open eventquiz.app in the phone browser, type the PIN and a nickname. Nothing to install, nothing to sign up for.

Do you have ready made quizzes for other occasions?

Two so far: this one and a Christmas quiz for the party season. If you want a theme, write to support@eventquiz.app and tell us which.
