This policy explains what EventQuiz (eventquiz.app, "we") collects, why, and what your choices are. Our starting principle is to collect as little as possible: players join games with a nickname only, unless the event host asks for more.
When a host shares an event recap, that page shows nicknames and scores only and lives at an unguessable address. The host can turn it off at any time, and it stops working automatically after 90 days. Expiry closes the public page; the results themselves stay in the host's account. If you appear on a recap and want it removed, contact us or the event host.
To run the service (games, scoring, results, exports for the host), to provide support, and to improve reliability. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
Host account data and event archives are kept while the account is active. Trial accounts and their data may be removed after the trial ends. Abuse counters, and the email address of a trial that was never confirmed with its code, are deleted automatically within three days. You can request deletion of your account and its data at any time; we complete verified requests within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal or billing reasons.
Subject to applicable law (including the GDPR where it applies), you can request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can object to or restrict certain processing. Write to support@eventquiz.app and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
EventQuiz is a tool for event hosts and is not directed at children. Hosts running events with minors are responsible for complying with rules that apply to their audience; the nickname-only default exists to make that easier.
We will post any changes on this page with a new date. Material changes will be flagged to account holders.
Privacy questions and requests: support@eventquiz.app. EventQuiz is operated from Serbia.
